24 years without her
You never outgrow needing your mom. Never. I’m so thankful that mine was an amazing, Godly example for me. I just wish I had longer to learn from her.
So here’s your annual reminder: If you still can, call your MOM today! Because one day you’ll wish you could! And if yours is also gone, reach out to someone else who means the world to you. Life is short. Show someone you care.
**This photo – This is 1996 at the marina in Gulf Shores. Two years later she was gone. As I’ve mentioned before, one tough thing is that smartphones and social media didn’t really exist during mom’s lifetime so photos are minimal. And it’s been long enough that I’m running out of photos of us together to share and that makes me sad.**
