A great (but cold!) night helping with 4 different Rose Parade floats!
We worked on the Downton Abbey float for the Rose Parade…glueing moss all around the sides. It took several hours to get the stickiest glue on the planet off our hands! Thankfully Matthew brought out the WD40 and it worked wonders!
We also loaded and counted flowers for the Donate Life float. I love the theme of this one “Treasure Life’s Journey”. You can see the camels behind us…they are made of crushed cinnamon!
This may have been my favorite task last night on the Rose Parade floats…cutting oranges and grapefruit to make the dragon’s feet.
