We’re getting closer and closer to Matthew’s commencement and I felt like I needed to recognize the amazing children to whom he dedicated his dissertation!
Our precious and amazing niece, Lydia Grace, daughter of Paul and Allysia. Life would be so boring without her! The energy and joy she has brought to us in the last few years can never be measured. And our two godchildren, Kate and Charlie, whose parents (Anthony & Kelly and Robert & Aubrey) honored us more than we could ever imagine by enlisting us in helping influence, care for, and love their kids at all costs! We’re unbelievably humbled by their acts of love to formally and officially include us in their kids’ lives.
God chose to take our kids very early, but we’re so thankful for these young lives with whom we get to journey! Matthew loves them dearly, and I cried when he told me about this dedication. And while they may not understand it now, one day they will.
